Okay so you are here because you’ve forgotten your Facebook password and want to recover it. There are a couple of ways to do that and we will teach you how:
Facebook is never going to email you your forgotten Facebook password, but its not necessarily a bad thing as it protects you from hackers.
Lets start:

Go to www.Facebook.com and below the password textbox, you will find a link that says “forgot your password?”
Once you click on that link, you will be then redirected to a page that looks very similar to this:
The next step is to enter the CAPTCHA code so that Facebook knows you are a real human being and not a computer trying to hack into an account.
After that, please type in the email address you used when you first registered to Facebook. You may also use the cell phone number if you ever used it in your Facebook account, and click on the Continue button. We are almost done, Facebook will know just ask for the final step to confirm your account.
After you click on the “Reset my password” link, Facebook will then show you the following step in this password recovery process:
Facebook will immediately send you a confirmation email and once you check your email.
This is an example of the email Facebook would send you so I’ll use the confirmation code that Facebook sent me and enter it in the text-box then click Submit. The following page should appear:

Congratulations, you have successfully recovered your account and now will be able to use a new password for your Facebook account.
