Would you like to throw the best College Dorm Party ever? Would you like to host a social media contest but are unsure of how to do it? Here’s what you need! Let’s take a look at how to throw the perfect College Dorm Party without breaking a sweat in this post.
How would you like your party to be?
The first step is to decide what type of party you will throw. Do you plan to hold the party indoors or outdoors? How about a “free-for-all” rager or a sporting event gathering? Those are the questions that need to be asked before the party even begins.
The best advice we can give you is to invite only your closest friends and let them know how many will be attending beforehand. This way, you can keep the party to your friends. Don’t make it appear as if there are a lot of people just strolling in and out of the house without any reason.
Your invitation list
Now that you’ve decided what type of party you’re going to hold, it’s time to gather the perfect guests. It is very important to choose your guests carefully because it will determine the mood of your party. There will be nothing fun about a party full of immature students and their stupid antics. If you know what type of people you want, then go find them!
It is also possible to do this in a variety of ways. If you want to see who will be attending your event, you can invite your closest friends on Facebook, or you can ask a few friends from school to join you. This is what we did for this party, and it worked well.
Choosing what to invite
Getting everything you need from your dorm room is the next step. Items such as party supplies, decorations, games, food, and drinks must be thrown up in the air! Here are some dorm room ideas for you! We decided to do a collage of everything related to IMDB or MovieBabble in this post. A poster was then created using images from IMDB. You’ll know where your guests should go, and they’ll enjoy reading all the information on the poster as well.
You are now ready for night one of your fun-filled party!
Welcome to Night One!
Whatever you decide on how to start your party, be sure to let everyone know about it beforehand. You could ruin your party before it even starts if you don’t take these precautions.
Once everyone has arrived, you might want to play a few games before the party begins. “Fruit Ninja” was a lot of fun, and we wanted to share it with our guests.
Once the games are over, it’s time for food! As we sat in front of our television, we threw a plate full of snacks on the couch.
Once the decorations are up, it’s time to get the party started. We placed our table on one side of the room, but you can place it anywhere. Our table was placed on one side of the room, but you can place it anywhere. The bedsheets we placed in the other corner of the room were used to cover the dresser. A college-like atmosphere was created by this.
It was then time for guests to begin arriving. We had a great time welcoming all of our friends, who were happy to see all of their favorite X-Men characters.
We started the games once everyone arrived! Once again, we played Fruit Ninja, but this time we filled out our custom poster. The guests had two minutes to fill out their favorite characters and how they died.
Then we held a huge X-Men trivia contest, showing each participant a scene from each movie. It was up to them to guess what movie it was and who was in it. We then gave them the answers and told them if they were correct. As the prize, the winner received a set of DVDs from “Uncanny X-Men” and “X2”.
Then we put on the movie and enjoyed watching it together.
Let’s have fun on nights two and three!
During the last two nights of the party, we didn’t have any real plans. It was just a fun night with everyone hanging out, watching the movie, and doing whatever they wanted. This was a great bonding experience for us all, and we hope you enjoy it as well!
