Imran Khan, Prime Minister of Pakistan, met Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
The Prime Minister praised China’s growing investment in Phase II of the CPEC, which aims at industrialization and boosting people’s livelihoods.
Prime Minister Khan addressed President Xi about his administration’s initiatives for continued growth, industrial development, agricultural modernization and regional connectivity in Pakistan, as well as a people-centric geoeconomic vision. He praised China’s continued aid and support for Pakistan’s socio-economic growth, which has benefited immensely from the high-quality development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
