Tg means glass transition temperature. There are also many different high Tg PCB materials not listed here, other countries, other companies prefer other materials. If without special notice, we will usually use SYL S1170.

Were they from high TG materials??
Access to high TG materials lies in the fact that it is possible to increase the long-term operating temperature and therefore also higher currents by CAMTECH PCB. Constant operating temperature is the temperature at which the PCB can be operated continuously without damage. Gold-plated, usually TÜV is about 20 °C below the indicated TG. This difference should serve as a defense because it means that loading the TG will definitely cause the PCB to break.
The High-TG material definitely feels like “special technology”. In the automotive industry, this material is in demand due to its higher heat resistance – with increasing authorizations and ever-increasing settings. TG around 130°C is the lowest limit for FR4 materials today, but many multilayers will become TG150°C. Glass Transition Temperature The temperature at which the material first softens as the glass fabric softens.
It is the high TG material that is said to be practically TG 170°C. This high TG material up to TG170°C becomes like a normal epoxy based FR4 and what it should be like a normal PCB. An exception in the process is the parameter drilling because the material contains special fillers. High TG material can be taken care of, take care of one eye and take care of more.

There are many types of high tg pcb materials, each board specification is different, its material, price, parameters, etc. also different.

The details are as follows:
94HB: ordinary cardboard, no flame retardant (lowest material, punched, can’t make PCB power).
94V0: Flame retardant cardboard (punched).
22F: Single sided fiberglass plate (punched holes).
CEM-1: single fiberglass plate (must be computer-drilled, holes cannot be punched).
- There are four types of flame retardant quality: 94V-0 / V-1 / V-2/94-HB
- Prepreg: 1080 = 0.0712 mm, 2116 = 0.1143 mm, 7628 = 0.1778 mm.
- FR4, CEM-3 are all for material type, FR4 is fiberglass and CEM3 is composite substrate..
- Halogen-free is a substrate that does not contain halogen. (elements such as fluorine and iodine), since bromine releases toxic gases when burned, it is not harmful to the environment.
- Tg – glass transition temperature, namely the melting point.
