Pakistani private airline SereneAir announces pay rise for employees. – Start up Pakistan

According to sources, SereneAir, a private Pakistani airline, has promised a compensation increase of up to 44% for low-paid staff.

SereneAir made the announcement today, five years after its founding. According to the airline’s management, workers with incomes over Rs 30,000 would receive a 15% to 25% pay increase.

In a tweet, Prime Minister Imran Khan said: “I congratulate Serene Air’s AVM Safdar(R) on responding to my call and announcing a 44 percent pay increase for low-wage workers and 15-25 percent for other workers.” I urge the top 100 Pakistani companies, which made a record profit of Rs.950 billion last year, to also increase the wages of their employees.”
