After months of leaks and rumors, Samsung has finally unveiled the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series. The lineup includes the Tab S8, Tab S8 Plus and the premium Tab S8 Ultra. The trio will be a first for the Samsung tablet family.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8
Design & Display
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is the smallest of the releases with an 11-inch IPS LCD, 2560×1600 resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The tablet has dimensions of 253.8 x 165.3 x 6.3 mm.
The tab will be available in Graphite, Silver and Pink Gold colors.
Interior and storage
It features RAM variations of 8 GB and 12 GB with internal storage capacities of 128 GB and 256 GB. The tablet is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and runs on Android 12-based One UI 4.1.
Camera
The back of the tablet features a 13MP, f/2.0 wide lens paired with a 6MP, f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor. While the front camera has a 12MP lens.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has an 8,000 mAh battery pack and is available for a starting price of $700.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+
Design & Display
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ has a 12.4-inch Super AMOLED display and a resolution of 2800×1752 with a dynamic 120 Hz refresh rate. The tablet has dimensions of 285 x 185 x 5.7 mm.
The Tab S8+ has an integrated fingerprint scanner under the screen and is available in the colors gray and bronze.
Interior and storage
The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and comes with One UI 4 on top of Android 12.
The base model has 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage and Wi-Fi connectivity only. Other variants of the tablet include 5G connectivity with 8GB of RAM and internal storage variations of 128GB or 256GB.
Camera
The back of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ features a camera cutout that extends with a black magnetic strip that clips onto the S Pen Stylus. The rear features a dual camera setup with a 13MP main camera lens and a 6MP ultra-wide snapper. While the selfie camera for the tablet includes a 12MP lens.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra
Design & Display
The superior tablet of the series, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, has a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2960×1848 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The tab features a notched screen that houses the selfie camera, as previously revealed through several leaks:

The notch sinks into the screen slightly, but is easily forgotten once the device has been used. It’s safe to say that the tablet compares well with Apple’s 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
Samsung also went ahead and added the ability to blur the background during a call, added a three-way microphone with three different types of noise cancellation.
The Tab S8 Ultra is also closer in size and weight to the Microsoft Surface Pro, weighing 1.6 lbs and measuring 13 inches in diameter and over 8 inches in length.
Interior and storage
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra comes with up to 16 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 512 GB. The tablet will also launch Android 12-based One UI 4.1.
Camera
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has dual rear cameras with a 13MP main camera equipped with a 6MP ultra-wide sensor. Compared to the other two tablets, it has dual 12MP selfie cameras in its notched display.
Battery & Prices
The tablet is powered by an 11,200 mAh battery, with a 45W fast charging capacity, and can be charged to its maximum in 82 minutes. Prices for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra start at $1100.
