1] CryptoPunks 

CryptoPunks was the pioneer of the NFT boom and is still a popular PFP NFT. 2017 saw the introduction of this line by Larva Labs.. It was launched by Larva Labs in 2017. Christie’s sold several of these NFTs at a combined price of $17million. CryptoPunks is the gold standard in PFP NFTs.

The Punks inspired others to use the same style in their NFT collections.

2] Bored Apes

BAYC is not far behind in popularity. It’s actually the best and most popular NFT PFP for apes. It even made the top PFP NFTs featuring apes.

BAYC also had its big auction house sale – one ape was sold at Sotheby’s for $34million. These apes are also owned by Jimmy Fallon and DJ Khaled. You can also find NBA star Stephen Curry hanging out at the BAYC Discord. Brands like Adidas also joined the fray and purchased a Bored Ape NFT for their brand in Metaverse.

DAO’s often purchase the Bored Apes as long-term investments.

3] Lazy Lions

The roaring success story of Lazylions is a highlight of the 2021 NFT craze. It is also often regarded as one of the most popular PFP NFTs on the market. The collection is a top-tier NFT and has sold 99 ETH, making it the most popular. Some stars joined recently, including Price Royce (Latin singer) and Chuck Liddell (UFC fighter).

Lazylions has a vibrant channel on Discord. Lazy Lions can give you some collectible cards by referring your friends to their discord. You can also look forward to ROARwards as an initiative to reward the community.

It’s one the most active and popular Twitter communities. NFTs for animals People use it.

4] Humanoids 

Humanoids is an assortment of 3-D art that includes over 150 traits. Humanoids is a PFP NFT that has been voted the most successful in 2021. It also has a lot of celebrity owners. Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda has two humanoids. The project also donated $20,000 to a charity selected by its discord community.

5] Sappy Seals

Sappy seals are a hugely popular choice for PFP NFTs. These adorable seals are loved by over 27K people on Discord. It is important that the project addresses environmental concerns that could threaten real seals through charitable donations for ocean cleanup.

We purchased one of these and added it to the Twitter Banner. This is a stronger community than the other PFPs we have mentioned. Later this month, we will publish a special piece about the Sappy Seals.

6] Gutter Cats Gang 

Gutter Cats live in a post-apocalyptic 2050 world. A dedicated fan base has developed around this legend, making Gutter Cats an extremely popular PFP NFT. Different sets of the collection represent different types and levels of community membership. Gutter Rats, Pigeons, and Dogs are Gang’s base level membership, while Gutter Cat owners represent the premium members.
