According to recent news, the California State Senate has passed ACR 104, which establishes a sister state relationship between the United States and Pakistan’s Punjab province.
California’s state parliament states, “A sister state relationship between California and Punjab, Pakistan, would encourage multifaceted engagement, including bilateral trade and commerce, as well as educational, environmental and cultural cooperation.”
It further said that California-Punjab agreements and agreements would be strengthened as a result of this mutually beneficial relationship.
