Power banks have become a necessary product with the rising trend of non-removable batteries for laptops and smartphones. A Chinese influencer has taken them to the next level by creating an all-new 27 million mAh power bank.
Handy Geng, a Chinese electronics handyman influencer, recently posted a video on Weibo and YouTube titled “I Made a 27,000,000 mAh Portable Power Bank.”
The influencer comically emphasizes that he was tired of his friends having bigger power banks than him, and that he wanted to make the largest and most durable battery of them all.

To build the power bank, Handy Geng bought a large flat battery pack, similar to the one on the bottom of an EV. The battery is then protected with a silver metal housing to make the design similar to that of a power bank.
Then Handy Geng set up the input and output charging ports and installed 1 input charging port with 60 output charging ports supporting up to 220V electrical voltage.
The influencer pointed out that he can charge up to 20 devices simultaneously, including smartphones, tablets and laptops.
Thanks to the high voltage of 220 V of the power bank, it can simultaneously charge a TV, washing machine and electric induction cooker without short circuit.
Handy Geng points out that due to its large size, the power bank is ironically not portable at all. However, if necessary, the power bank can be used for several devices, despite the obvious shortcoming.
