She is known as a sincere and rudely honest officer. She has been DM of several districts of UP including Sharavasti, Amroha, Shahjahanpur, Bulandshahr, Hardoi and Raibareli. Before becoming an IAS, Shubhra worked for a multinational as a software engineer.
