Visas

New Zealand passport holders do not require a visa to enter Argentina as tourists or business travelers. Upon presentation of a valid NEW ZEALAND VISA FOR ARGENTINA CITIZENS passport you will normally be granted a 90-day stay in the country.

Passport validity

Your passport should be valid for the proposed duration of your stay.

New Zealand Emergency Travel Documents

New Zealand Citizens travelling on an Emergency Travel Document (ETD) must apply for the appropriate Argentine visa to enter the country.

For entry into Argentina, your ETD should be valid for the proposed duration of your stay. No additional period of validity beyond this is required.

Extending your stay beyond 90 days

If you wish to extend your stay for another 90-day period, please seek advice from the Argentine Migrations Office(external link).

Working Holiday Visa for Argentina

There are currently 1,000 working holiday visas available each year for New Zealanders to visit Argentina whilst undertaking short term studies and/or employment for a twelve month period.
