During his speech, the IT minister said that the state-of-the-art data center has been set up under the cybersecurity requirements.
“As part of this initiative, the NITB will help establish a secure test incubator, which will allow testing of websites, mobile applications and web portals of government agencies,” the minister said.
Previously, applications and web portals were tested by the National Technology Council (NTC) or a third party.
He said the creation of the NITB center has eliminated the risk of data breaches or hacking.
“Supported by state-of-the-art technology and attention to detail, NITB’s data center provides highly secure and effective solutions that can meet the data security needs of government ministries. The data center services guarantee a secure physical and technical infrastructure that protects the most sensitive and critical data from any type of internal and external security threats,” he added.
In addition, it also enables ministries to recover applications and data in the aftermath of various accidents and revive the missing information using robust tools and technologies, he added.
