Islamabad Police Launches WhatsApp Helpline to the Public

The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police Department has launched a WhatsApp helpline that makes it easy for the public to register their complaints and get important information with a few clicks.

This makes ICT Police the first police department in the country to introduce a WhatsApp helpline for rapid registration and handling of complaints.

In this regard, the Inspector General of the Police (IGP) ICT Police, Muhammad Ahsan Younas, said the public can now contact the ICT Police through the WhatsApp helpline.

All they need to do is save 03342874287 to their contact list and send WhatsApp message to this number. They can use the helpline in both English and Urdu.

The public has access to 18 ICT police services via the WhatsApp helpline. These include About Islamabad Police, IGP Complaint Cell, Police Facilitation Center Services, Online Crime, and Complaints Reporting System, Helpline Numbers of ICT Police, gender harassment reporting, online appointment for all services, police advisories and police stations.

They also include Overseas Pakistani Services, Social Media, Islamabad Police Mobile App and Website, Youth Engagement Program, Zainab Alert, Daily Inquiries and Investigations, Most Wanted Criminals, Access to PMDU and Suggestions and Feedback.
